JFC Consult offers executive support services to small businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and community-based organizations. JFCC can act as an advisor, help execute a plan as a strategic partner or temporarily fill a contracted position. It focuses on improvements in organizational effectiveness through operational efficiencies and improved management oversight and review. As a small firm, JFC Consult prides itself on personal attention, timely recommendations, easy communication and plans and solutions that are tailored precisely for each client. For large or time-sensitive assignments, it is able to draw upon an extensive a network of affiliates and consultants with expertise in diverse fields.


Jane Corbett, Principal, is the founder and director of JFC Consult. She is a seasoned professional with proven success as a leader in a broad range of executive functions. She served as Executive Deputy Commissioner of the Human Resources Administration under three New York City mayors. Her tenure there brought her to the highest levels of management and gave her oversight of the agency’s significant programs: Domestic Violence, HIV/AIDS, Emergency Services, Legislative and Community Affairs, Audit, Quality Assurance and Compliance. Prior to HRA, Jane served as an administrator at Safe Horizon where in collaboration with IT she set up the City’s first independent call center. The unique variety of Jane’s work has given her unusual insight into the operations and underlying structures of businesses and organizational programs. It allows her to quickly assess deficiencies and prescribe workable, cost-effective solutions. Jane is collaborative and results-oriented. She partners with senior executives to set attainable goals, actively engages staff in bolstering their strengths, provides leadership development to support implementation and establishes performance metrics to track and improve outcomes.
